☕️✨ It's International Coffee Day! ✨☕️What better way to celebrate than by highlighting a downtown favorite—Court House Grounds, which has served Danville for over 25 years!Co-owner Bill had always dreamed of opening a small coffee shop, but it was his longtime friend (and now business partner), Tracy, who pushed him to put in an offer on the building. They purchased it in the spring of 1998 and immediately began much-needed, extensive renovations. 🛠By December, they were still finishing up when The Republican happened to run an article announcing their upcoming opening! The timeline wasn’t what they originally planned, but with a lot of hard work, long nights, and a little holiday magic, Court House Grounds officially opened its doors on Christmas Eve, 1998. 🎄What started with a leap of faith (and a little chaos) has grown into the welcoming spot it is today—a place to gather with friends, sip your favorite coffee or tea, and enjoy delicious breakfast and lunch favorites.And if you haven’t seen Bill’s “Soupmercials”… 🥣 you’re missing out!
