The Downtown Danville Partnership (DDP) is a community-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is dedicated to developing, promoting, and preserving Danville’s historic courthouse square as Hendricks County’s premier gathering place and hub for retail, civic, and entertainment activities.

Our vision is to encourage collaboration and create enthusiasm among everyone who visits downtown Danville. Through strong partnerships with the community, businesses, and local government, we foster collaboration to preserve Danville’s historic charm, drive economic growth, and inspire excitement in everyone who visits downtown.

We take pride in sharing Danville’s story and invite everyone to experience the unique charm and offerings of our small town.

Two really great events happening downtown NOW! 🤗

🥬 Danville Chamber of Commerce’s Farmer’s market is happening until noon! The market will be every Saturday 8a-12p during summer months! Find fresh produce, local brewed kombucha, wood workings, and more every week! 🖼️ Then Visit Hendricks County and Hendricks County Art Collective have partnered for Hues of Hendricks County! This is a self guided tour to check out all the local murals being completed around our county! Anthony Brooks is creating an awesome piece in the East Alley behind Gallery on the Square! 🎨 Anthony uses traditional, digital, and 3D techniques in his works. He will be working the next few weeks to bring the East alley to life! 🤩 ... See MoreSee Less

We're sad to report that this morning's Free Movie: Garfield is cancelled.

Due to exciting progress on the new mural in East Alley, Duke Energy was unable to restore power in time for today’s screening. Sometimes, a little delay is part of creating something great! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you back at the Danville Royal Theater for the summer movie series! ... Whew—what a weekend! From the Friday Cruise-In and Danville Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market to the Destination Danville Festival, the square was the place to be!

Now that the dust has settled, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you–not just to our event organizers and attendees but particularly to those working behind the scenes. To the Town of Danville's Street Department, the Danville Metropolitan Police Department, the Danville Fire Department, and many other Town of Danville employees—these events could not happen without you!A big thanks, as well, to our downtown businesses, residents, and Courthouse/business employees. We know that downtown events impact building access, traffic, parking, and more. We appreciate everyone’s willingness to take these disruptions in stride.THANK YOU ALL for supporting downtown and continuing to prove that Danville is truly “A great place to spend an hour or a lifetime.”#DowntownDanville #Thanks #SincereAppreciation #TownOfDanville ...
