Labor Day Picnic on the Square

Enjoy a Labor Day Picnic on the square beginning at 11:00 am. Bring a blanket or chair and join us for a picnic lunch, then stay for all of the fun activities in the afternoon.
- Free face painting from 12:00 – 2:00 pm.
- Ice Cream Social at Danville Dips from 1:00 – 4:00 pm when you can snag a free scoop of ice cream.
- Apple Pie Bake-off judging will be at 2:00 pm. Sign up to enter.
- Watermelon eating contest is at 3:00 pm. Sign up to enter.
Also, be sure to catch a free screening of Mayberry Man at The Royal at 2:00 pm!
With live music, sack races and hula hoop contests, carry-out specials from local restaurants, and fun prizes, there will be something for everyone!
